1. | 1990 – 1992 | From 1990 to 1992, I participated in the organization of the annual seminar of the Pediatric Surgery and Orthopedic Clinic of AUTh, preparing groups of students to present topics from the entire spectrum of Pediatric Surgery. |
2. | 1996 – 1999 | During my presence at the Medical School of St. Mary’s Hospital in London, I participated in the education of medical students, in the form of lectures and creating working groups, with the aim of demonstrating the clinical signs of patients. |
3. | 2000 – 2004 | As a scientific associate of the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, AUTh, I actively participated in the theoretical and practical teaching of 5th– and 6th-year medical students as well as trainees obstetricians-gynecologists. The training subjects were Reproductive Endocrinology and high-risk pregnancy. |
4. | 2004 – today | As a lecturer, assistant professor (tenured and permanent), associate professor and professor of Reproductive Endocrinology of the 1st Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, AUTh, I actively participate in the theoretical and practical teaching of 10th-semester medical students, in the context of the “Obstetrics – Gynecology course I“. The main training subjects are Reproductive Endocrinology and the metabolic complications of pregnancy. |

Teaching of post-graduate courses
1. | 1998 – 1999 | As a clinical research fellow, for two consecutive years, in collaboration with Senior Lecturer Barbara-Vivian Ambrosiadou, I supervised postgraduate students (MSc) of the Department of Informatics of the University of Herdforshire, UK, who were preparing papers in the field of support decision-support in Medicine. |
2. | 2001 – 2003 | As a scientific associate, I participated in the Medical Postgraduate Program (PROMESI) which was carried out under the supervision of Professor Constantinos Pappas. The program was of two years’ duration, concerned the training of medical graduates in Medical Informatics and resulted in the acquisition of a master’s degree. Holders of this diploma have the possibility to continue their studies to obtain a doctorate.
