| 1995 – 1999 | I conducted my doctoral thesis in the fields of Endocrinology, Oncology and Medical Informatics, entitled “Knowledge representation with Artificial Intelligence methods for decision support in Endocrinology and Oncology,” under the supervision of Professor Aristotelis Vritsios. The thesis was evaluated with the grade “Excellent”. In the general part of the thesis, an extensive reference is made to Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and decision-making mechanisms in clinical practice. In the special part, a new method of representing medical knowledge is proposed, its theoretical background, installation in a computer system and its evaluation are provided. |
